Wes Bentley, who plays Kevin Costner on the popular Paramount Network series “Yellowstone,” has responded to rumors of behind-the-scenes conflict regarding Costner’s status on the program.
Deadline reported earlier this month that the Taylor Sheridan-penned western series “Yellowstone” may be coming to an end due to scheduling conflicts with Costner, 68, who allegedly wanted to cut down on his time shooting the project.
Although he admitted he wasn’t involved in the discussions, actor Bentley, 44, who portrays Jamie Dutton, the adopted son of Costner’s character John Dutton, expressed his optimism for the show’s future.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly that was published on Saturday, Bentley said, “The news that’s come out lately about the show is, you know, above my pay grade.”
